Contribute to Agile delivery, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Required Technical Skillsets
Advanced proficiency in Palantir Foundry, including Pipeline Builder, Code Workbooks, and Ontology development.
Strong programming experience with Python for data transformation, automation, and analytical workflows.
Proficiency in PySpark for distributed data processing across large geospatial and time series datasets.
Strong SQL skills for complex querying, data validation, and performance tuning.
Experience designing scalable data models supporting PSPS decision workflows and wildfire risk intelligence.
Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and governance controls.

Critical Qualitative & Operational Skills
Ability to make quick, rational, and defensible decisions during PSPS activation scenarios.
Strong situational awareness and ability to prioritize data issues that directly impact public safety.
Ability to operate effectively in time sensitive emergency environments with evolving data inputs.
Clear communication of risks, data anomalies, and operational impacts to leadership and field teams.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for cross functional teams.
Strong troubleshooting instincts for Foundry pipelines, ingestion failures, and ontology inconsistencies.
Adaptability and resilience in dynamic wildfire risk and grid operations environments.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or data intensive application development.
Hands on experience with Palantir Foundry, including ontology modeling and pipeline development.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data governance.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Palantir AIP and AI/ML enabled wildfire risk modeling.
Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript for Foundry applications.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience in utilities, energy, public sector, or regulated industries.
Familiarity with wildfire mitigation operations, PSPS protocols, or emergency response workflows.

Impact of the Role
