We are now looking for a Service Planner Contract to support our Santa Clara Office! What you'll be doing: - As the Service Planner you will be a key part of assisting the Service Operations team responsible for maintaining our service supply plans and ensuring we are meeting our requirements for customer return demand. - Manage and maintain all system parameters including contracts part numbers bills of material chaining material/supplier data relationships so they are set up correctly and in a timely manner. - Actively manage inventory shortages and excess minimum stock levels demand forecasts and monitor key performance metrics for monthly management review. - Work with the production and factory teams to reduce excess coordinate with the production planning team on alternate part/part numbers and work with the BU on demand and flexibility trade-offs to ensue every additional liability generated has been carefully weighed. - When there are capacity material or production issues that will prevent satisfying all demand you will be working with the Planning teams person in charge to determine tradeoff options and work with internal partners to craft an efficient solution. - Analyze demand shortfalls and changes in supply to prepare a weekly supply summary. - Liaise with Repair Operations to ensure we maximize the usage of refurbish material in a timely manner. - You'll work with the program managers engineers to develop ramp plans for products from early-stage sampling to production. You will coordinate the transition plan of product revisions based on customer qualification schedules and supply availability. - You will use your SAP planning and buying skills to help with all supply-related matters. - PO management for all service related products coming our repair and new build sites. - Provide analytic and systems support for the Service Planning team What we need to see from you: - 7 years of working experience in the service planning field preferably planning in SAP - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Industrial Engineering Business Administration Computer Science Mathematics Economics or relevant areas or equivalent work experience. - Strong communication problem-solving teamwork organizational and quantitative skills - Proven track record to document automate and improve processes and inspire changes cross-functionally to get the results. - Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office Excel MRP - Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel to analyze and manipulate data - formulas pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus. - Language: Excellent English skills on reading writing speaking and listening - Personality: highly organized detailed orientated a self-starter and collaborator with a strong sense of ownership. - Direct experience with service operations spares parts planning and customer support. - Possess a start-up mentality proactive in driving actions to support the business and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the business grows. Ways for you to stand out from the crowd: - You have experience working with service supply chains and understand how they leverage as well as differ from production focused supply chains. - Ability to articulate supply-demand status and associated challenges at an executive level - You have experience with large IT projects and you can discover and communicate process and system requirements. - To demonstrate consistently the ability to drive solutions to real world operational problems that hinder our ability to hit the goals. - To lead internal and external team members with interpersonal skills to establish preventive action plans that can improve the overall performance of the company. - Capability to independently analyze and understand problems at hand and derive meaningful plans for improvement and influence management decisions. - Experience with Service planning systems Prophet by Baxter - Direct experience with build-to-order and configure-to-order products and associated supply-chain. Experience in service logistics and operations support in a fast-paced environment. - Results oriented analytical curious and self-motivated. - Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills. - Familiar with SFDC Baxter and SAP/ CRM or other similar systems - Excellent tracking and reporting skills - Customer focused attitude

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $64.75/hr.
