Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in New York, NY.

Essential Functions:
* Build and maintain a scalable, high-quality data foundation within the Snowflake platform to support the IFM Assets and Revenue Data initiative
* Design, model, and ingest multi-source data structures into Snowflake, applying matching logic and ensuring consistency across entities
* Conduct comprehensive analysis and planning of MSAW, IS, and ICS asset and revenue flows, supporting tranche-based automation efforts
* Optimize code, perform end-to-end testing, and schedule production jobs while adhering to established change-management processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize, curate, and operationalize assets and revenue data throughout the organization

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of experience in a client-facing data engineering role
* Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, data modeling, and multi-source ingestion frameworks
* Strong experience with Python, DB2, and Informatica Data Stager (required)
* Proficiency with Unix shell scripting and developing automated data processes
* Demonstrated background in analysis, planning, optimization, and scalable data architecture design
* Onsite at the Alpharetta 3 days per week; First week must be onsite in Atlanta

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
