Position Description
The Software Engineer 2 is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products that support business and customer needs. This role participates in the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement practices.
This position will also support SAP Training & Enablement activities within the BOBM SAP program, helping drive user readiness, certification tracking, and adoption across workstreams.
Work Schedule: 4 days onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and requirements, ensuring user-centric solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
- Evaluate application requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies.
- Create high-level software architecture designs that define system structure, components, interfaces, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Architects, Designers, and Business Analysts.
- Define and implement software testing strategies, standards, processes, and best practices.
- Continuously improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and development efficiency.
- Apply modern development practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
- Support data security and privacy requirements through encryption, anonymization, and secure development practices.
- Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and user experiences.
- Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and microservices using server-side technologies.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to enhance solution capabilities and business value.
- Participate in industry and technology collaborations to support evolving platform and architecture needs.
Training & Enablement Responsibilities
- Support SAP training and certification tracking across the BOBM SAP program.
- Coordinate training schedules, job aids, and learning resources across multiple workstreams.
- Develop and maintain user readiness dashboards, scorecards, and reporting metrics.
- Monitor training effectiveness and certification completion rates.
- Assist with change management and user adoption activities to support successful SAP deployments.

- Training and enablement experience within enterprise software deployments
- Experience with SAP user adoption, readiness, and certification programs
- Familiarity with large-scale enterprise environments
Education
Required:Preferred:- Relevant SAP, Agile, Project Management, or ITIL certifications
