.NET Developer LSEG (Only W2)

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a high-performing engineering team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). This role requires a strong, hands-on engineer with deep experience building, deploying, and operating high-scale, cloud-based distributed systems. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the software lifecycle and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability applications using .NET / C#
• Lead and contribute to large-scope technical projects involving multiple engineering teams
• Build and operate cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and deploy applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive best practices for system design and performance
• Own applications end-to-end, including development, deployment, monitoring, and production support
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with strong debugging skills
• Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and code quality
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across teams

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in .NET framework, C#, and enterprise application development
• Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) (e.g., EC2, virtual machines)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience building and operating distributed and microservices-based systems
• Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments
• Knowledge of system observability, monitoring, and logging tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence technical decisions
