Summary
Seeking a Help Desk Technician to join a collaborative team responsible for user support and operational initiatives. The team has administrative rights to workstations to troubleshoot hardware, software, and account access issues. They will also be working on an enterprise initiative to roll out 1,000 Android tablets to users in the field and be expected to collaborate closely with team members and end users to ensure smooth rollout and support a transition from deployment to ongoing ITSM operations.
Role
- Provide phone and deskside support for Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general workstation performance issues from a Zoho ManagerEngine ServiceDesk Plus queue of approximately 70 tickets/day.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, group policies, credential resets, access provisioning, and security protocols in Active Directory.
- Image and deploy Windows 10/11 workstations.
- Handle device receiving, inventory, and shipping logistics
- Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools to configure and manage Android tablets.
- Set up hardware including monitors, docking stations, and peripherals for new hires.
- Perform routine Microsoft Exchange tasks, including mailbox permissions and forwarding.
- Provisioning, imaging, and troubleshooting of Android tablets.
- Coordinate with remote team members to remediate issues with applications.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Desktop Support experience and is a proactive team player comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment where morning ticket volume is high.
Required
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting & resolution of Windows O/S and Microsoft O365 applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM platforms (AirWatch, etc.).
- Proficiency User/Group management in Active Directory and Android/Mobile device ecosystems.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM platforms (AirWatch, etc.).
- Microsoft Exchange and Windows OS troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking Basics (IP configurations, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setups).
Prefer
- Windows installer knowledge and packaging experience (InstallShield/Orca/Wise Package Studio).
- Familiarity with Zoho/ManageEngine Endpoint Central for remote management.
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Batch, or VBScript).
Job Details
- Location: 5 days a week onsite in St. Cloud, MN / 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
