Must be interested and eligible for hire after 6 months
MAX RATE per hour MUST BE RELATED TO CANDIDATE EXPERIENCES
There is no rate guideline for this role, but the rate must match the candidates level of experience.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH JDEDWARDS WORLD 7.3
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE ON AN IMPLEMENTATION TEAM UPGRADING TO ENTERPRISE ONE.
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for interacting with the development team and project team to ensure successful delivery of special projects within the team s portfolio of products.
The Senior Software Developer will also be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. These responsibilities also include mentoring Junior and Mid-level developers.
The ability to communicate clearly, consistent on-time delivery and the ability to work with the team to deliver high quality software is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
- Develop software solutions based on requirements obtained from the business unit(s) following the standard software development lifecycle agreed upon by the team.
- Follow current coding standards agreed upon by the team.
- Stay current with industry standards by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Provide advice, coaching and assistance to other developers on the team.
- Collaborate respectfully with other team members.
- Assist with interviewing potential candidates as needed
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them on time.
- Maintain a high level of quality in each software release.
- Other duties as assigned by management
REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: No direct reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- The ability to select the correct technical design so that the best balance of cost, security and supportability are met along with the expected functionality of the application.
- The ability to clearly communicate with the team and provide guidance surrounding the appropriate use of technical resources and operational procedures.
- The ability to provide governance, identity management, security guidance to the team and the organization.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- Fluent with functional, imperative and object- oriented languages (knowledge of C# is preferred).
- Strong with OOP and Functional Programing and modeling skills.
- Fluent in JavaScript.
- Experience coding, testing, and documenting complex systems.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines.
- Experience implementing and consuming large scale web services.
- Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
- Experience with unit test methodologies.
- Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.
