Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, financial management, and delivery oversight of enterprise initiatives. This role is responsible for managing budgets, resources, vendors, and delivery plans while partnering with Agile teams to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings strong core project management fundamentals (PM 101), is comfortable managing financials and vendors, and can hold delivery teams accountable without acting as a Scrum Master or technical lead.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end project planning, execution, and tracking across multiple initiatives
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and delivery timelines
- Track delivery progress using tools such as Jira and ensure alignment to approved plans
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies impacting delivery
Financial Management & Forecasting
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking for all assigned initiatives
- Perform regular reviews of actuals versus budget and identify projects that are over budget, under budget, or at risk
- Ensure accurate financial reporting through accruals and forecasting across fiscal periods
- Manage net-90 billing cycles and ensure expenses are applied to the correct budget year
- Support monthly forecasting and financial reviews
Resource & Vendor Management
- Manage resource allocation across internal teams, contractors, and consultants
- Oversee onboarding and management of external consultants and vendor partners
- Manage purchase orders and validate vendor invoices by reconciling billed hours against approved allocations
- Ensure vendor work aligns with scope, budget, and delivery expectations
- Lead or support RFP and RFI processes as needed
Agile Delivery Oversight
- Partner with Scrum Masters and Agile delivery teams to ensure effective execution
- Hold Scrum teams accountable for delivery commitments and outcomes
- Ensure Agile ceremonies, processes, and delivery tracking are operating effectively
- Maintain focus on delivering working products on schedule and within budget
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in enterprise project or program management roles
- Strong understanding of core project management fundamentals, including planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Hands-on experience managing project financials, forecasting, and accruals
- Experience managing vendors, consultants, and third-party partners
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as Jira
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
- Experience supporting product development or technology delivery teams
- Experience leading or participating in RFP and RFI processes
