Summary
Need 15+ Years
High-impact Senior .NET Backend role focused on modernizing legacy VB.NET systems, building scalable backend services, and supporting mission-critical financial applications within Asset Management / Investment domain.
- Lead backend development using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC & Web APIs
- Modernize legacy VB.NET & WinForms applications into robust backend architectures
- Design high-performance solutions with SQL Server, SSIS, and enterprise integrations
- Support, enhance, and maintain trading, operations, finance, and fund systems
- Drive CI/CD, Agile delivery, and production stability via Azure DevOps
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and IT leadership
- Provide production support for critical financial applications (including on-call if needed)
Core Tech Stack
- C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+
- ASP.NET MVC, Web API
- VB.NET (Legacy Modernization)
- SQL Server, SSIS
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD, Git, Boards)
- Enterprise Schedulers: Tidal / AutoSys / UC4 / ActiveBatch
Must-Have Experience
- 15+ years in .NET backend development (C#, VB.NET, SQL Server)
- Strong experience in Asset Management / Hedge Fund / Broker-Dealer / Investment firms
- Proven expertise in large-scale enterprise application support & modernization
- Hands-on Agile and CI/CD environment experience
Nice to Have
- Market data integrations (Bloomberg / FactSet / Refinitiv)
- OMS/IMS platforms (CRD, Linedata, etc.)
- Azure Cloud exposure
- Power BI / Power Platform / Python (Plus)
