Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Oracle WMS Cloud Solution Lead with deep expertise in manufacturing-driven supply chain transformations. This individual must have successfully delivered Oracle WMS Cloud implementations for manufacturing customers where Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, Inventory Management, Procurement, Order Management, and Product Hub Cloud were implemented concurrently as part of an integrated Oracle Fusion program.
This is not a configuration-only role. We are looking for a methodical, highly organized, hands-on architect who excels at solution design, cross-functional integration, stakeholder communication, and structured delivery leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of Oracle WMS Cloud within integrated Oracle Fusion Supply Chain programs.
• Design warehouse processes aligned with:
• Manufacturing (discrete / process)
• Inventory management
• Procurement receiving
• Order fulfillment & shipping
• Product master governance (Product Hub)
• Architect inbound, internal, and outbound warehouse flows:
• ASN receiving
• Putaway strategies
• LPN management
• Picking methodologies (wave, cluster, cartonization)
• Manufacturing staging & backflush integration
• Shipping execution & carrier integration
• Define integration design patterns across:
• WMS ↔️ Inventory Cloud
• WMS ↔️ Manufacturing Cloud
• WMS ↔️ Procurement
• WMS ↔️ Order Management
• WMS ↔️ Product Hub
• Ensure solution adheres to Clean Core principles and Oracle best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with:
• Manufacturing functional leads
• Inventory & Costing teams
• Procurement leads
• Order Management architects
• Product Data governance teams
• Facilitate integrated design workshops.
• Identify upstream/downstream process impacts early.
• Align warehouse operations with production scheduling and supply planning strategies.
Hands-On Configuration & Execution
• Perform and review:
• WMS configuration setup
• RF configuration
• Task management rules
• Allocation rules
• Labeling & document generation
• Integration testing
• Drive:
• SIT planning and execution
• E2E UAT across manufacturing and distribution
• Cutover strategy and execution
• Provide hypercare stabilization support post go-live
