Description
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position involves a blend of leadership and hands-on technical responsibilities, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. As a Long-term Contract role, this is an excellent opportunity for professionals dedicated to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of organizational technology systems.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, installation, and upkeep of servers, networks, and technology systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, including system administrators and support staff.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement best practices and enhance the security of IT and OT systems.
Coordinate with external vendors to procure and manage IT and OT resources effectively.
Monitor infrastructure systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability for business and operational functions.
Oversee the integration and secure communication between IT and OT environments.
Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for infrastructure management across all domains.
Respond to infrastructure incidents and conduct thorough root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards for IT and OT systems.
Optimize system performance and reliability by planning and managing infrastructure lifecycles.
Requirements
Strong expertise in IT and OT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and industrial control systems.
Advanced knowledge of network security practices, segmentation, and compliance standards.
Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects from design to deployment.
Experience in team management, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and industrial control technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Five years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, incident response, and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
