Pay Range: $17 - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members on a variety of topics.
- Understand and service different product suites, including current offerings and those no longer sold.
- Interpret and apply changes to products based on daily communications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of conversations to enhance member relationships.
- Educate customers on tax implications, penalties, and benefits related to their plans.
- Analyze customer issues to determine the best course of action, striving for first-time resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Participate in problem-solving meetings and team huddles to integrate lean methodology into daily interactions.
- Engage in monthly meetings with leadership to set career path strategies and expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 1 years of experience in customer service or sales-related occupations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Nice to have: Undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications.
- Nice to have: ChFC, CLU, or other industry designations.
- Nice to have: Client series 6 and/or 26 licenses based on assigned product/line-of-business.
- Knowledge of various insurance products and the sales process.
- Strong understanding of state and local laws regarding product features.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and common office software.
- Ability to utilize technology to enhance customer conversations
