Skills & Technical Requirements

Required Technical Skills

SQL

o Strong ability to write correct SQL and clearly explain joins, subqueries, output, and performance considerations.

o Advanced experience designing, developing, and optimizing complex queries and stored procedures.

Python

o Ability to write readable, testable Python code appropriate to the business problem.

o Experience refactoring code and clearly explaining logic end-to-end.

Data Integration & APIs

o Experience building data integrations using integration tools and APIs to ingest and move data across systems.

o Proven ability to deliver maintainable data pipelines from intake through deployment with minimal oversight.

Platform & Tool Experience

Snowflake

o Working proficiency with roles and permissions basics.

o Experience monitoring and troubleshooting workloads.

GitHub

o Experience with branching strategies, pull requests, workflows, code reviews, and repository hygiene.

BI / Analytics Ecosystem

o Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) and/or SQL Server components, as applicable to the environment.
