Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, robust code.
• Oversee the platform, including day-to-day requests, long-term projects, and overall team strategy.
• Continually enhance team performance by eliminating toil through automation.
• Eliminate waste in the SDLC process.
• Ensure the platform is fully compliant with Citi’s compliance, security, and audit policies; securities lending experience is required.
• Maintain system stability during enhancement and maintenance periods.

Required Skill set:

• Proven experience working through the full product lifecycle from initial design to final delivery.
• Strong team leadership skills.
• 6+ years of industry software engineering experience, including 5+ years of hands-on work with Java/Kotlin; Scala is a must.
• 6+ years of experience developing multithreaded JVM applications.
• Demonstrated experience building large-scale JVM applications.
• Practical experience developing distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with container-based technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with JVM application performance tuning.
• Experience working with document databases, especially MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps engineering practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (exceptional candidates with strong track records will also be considered).
