job summary:

For this contractor assignment, the resources will be working on the SBI Quoting API team supporting external API connections with 3rd party vendor quoting systems. Will be focused on maintaining and enhancing existing API connection.

responsibilities:

- Analyzes requirements for software programs or application enhancements

- Performs root cause analysis on programming defects and produces resilient solutions

- Creates detailed programming specifications

- Writes or modifies code for complex software programs, components, or applications

- Performs development testing and audits results

- Supports and maintains software programs, components, or applications in a production environment

- Creates and maintains documentation

- Provides input and advice to others in designing or programming best practices

- Establishes solution direction for complex enhancements, including tradeoff decisions that support business goals and operational stability

qualifications:

- Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

- {OR} Completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
