Summary

Job Title: Mechanical Systems Engineering Technician
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 06+ Months (Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension)
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Systems Engineering Technician to support our Mechanical Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving spare part drawings and parts lists, interfacing with suppliers and procurement teams, and assisting in creating technical specifications. You will also perform document control, define instructions for 3D modeling to drafters, and support the engineering team with various technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Review supplier submittals, primarily related to spare parts.
Assist in updating and maintaining technical specifications.
Create and follow up on D-Specs (3D model instructions) for drafting.
Review internal and external documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Support Mechanical Systems Engineers with overflow tasks as needed.
Provide general department support to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications / Must-Haves:
Technical degree or equivalent background in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3 5 years of relevant technical experience.
Experience reviewing drawings, parts lists, or supplier documentation.
Familiarity with 3D modeling / CAD drafting instructions.
Strong document control and technical documentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
Analytical and problem-solving skills are a plus.
