Senior Controls Service Technician | Building Automation (BAS)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Controls Service Technician to join our team! If you
have a strong background in building automation systems, controls programming, and
troubleshooting, and enjoy working in the field while leading technicians—this is a great

What You’ll Do
● Lead advanced installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of control
systems
● Diagnose system performance through testing and system optimization
● Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and service agreements
● Execute service calls, quoted projects, and emergency support work
● Serve as a technical lead, mentoring and supporting junior technicians
● Coordinate multi-tech jobs and subcontractors
● Communicate directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships
● Maintain accurate service documentation, commissioning reports, and invoicing
● Participate in on-call rotation as needed
What You Bring
● 7+ years of experience in controls/BAS service or HVAC controls
● Hands-on experience with platforms like Siemens, Distech, JCI, or INET
● Strong skills in controls programming, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
● Solid understanding of low voltage DC and AC electrical systems
● Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
● Experience with access control and lighting systems
● Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Nice to Have
● Certifications in Tridium Niagara (AX/N4), Siemens, or Distech
● Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field
