Job DescriptionThe Partner Technical Solutions Engineer acts as a technical liaison between the organization and its external partners, supporting integration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of joint solutions.
This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure partners understand, adopt, and successfully leverage the company's products and platforms.
They collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align business strategy with operational and technology solutions, ensuring the organization's goals are supported by effective processes and systems. They also collaborate to design, optimize, and document business capabilities, processes, and value streams as well as resolve technical challenges, and drive mutual success.
They play a key role in driving transformation initiatives, supporting change management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external partners during pre-sales, strategy, onboarding, integration, and ongoing support.
- Understand business and technical capabilities, value streams, and organizational structures.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business goals.
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with partners to design, implement, and optimize integrations with company products, APIs, and platforms.
- Analyze and provide input into technical business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and integration.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for partner stakeholders.
- Conduct technical workshops and Q&A forums for partners.
- Document pre-onboarding integration requirements, best practices, and technical solutions.
- Advocate for partner needs internally, providing feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Ensure partner solutions meet compliance, security, and performance standards.
- Support technical change management initiatives by assessing impacts and facilitating communication.
- Ensure business processes and solutions adhere to governance, risk, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or data engineering partner-facing roles.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, software integration, and cloud platforms.
- Project or Program management experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with compliance and security requirements is a plus.
