ETL Developer

Position: ETL Developer
Location: Atlanta/Charlotte/Raleigh (On-Site)

Rate - $45/hr on W2 without benefits

Contract, W2 candidates only

Required Skills : Snowflake, Talend,PySpark, SQL, Unix/Linux, SAS (code analysis & conversion to Snowflake), Cloud (AWS/Azure)

Job Descriptions

·         Analyze complex SAS code, macros, and batch workflows to understand business logic and data transformations

·         Refactor and optimize SAS code for efficient migration to Snowflake

·         Convert legacy SAS processes into Snowflake SQL and Talend ETL pipelines ensuring functional equivalence

·         Design and develop Talend ETL/ELT jobs for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake

·         Implement Talend transformations such as tMap, tJoin, tAggregateRow, and tFilterRow for business logic processing

·         Create and maintain source-to-target mapping documents (MapDocs) and transformation logic documentation

·         Develop parameterized Talend jobs using context variables to support multiple environments (DEV/QA/PROD)

·         Build and manage Snowflake data pipelines using SQL, stored procedures, and tasks

·         Implement incremental load and CDC logic to efficiently process large datasets

·         Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation between source and Snowflake systems

·         Develop and execute data quality (DQ) checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency

·         Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks

·         Optimize Snowflake queries and Talend pipelines for performance and cost efficiency

·         Ensure data delivery meets SLA/OLA timelines and support release activities

·         Collaborate with QA, Data Modelers, and Business teams, and support UAT, deployments, and post-production validation
