Application Architect (Job Code: 1028)

Duties: Responsible for providing expertise in the establishment of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) design and implementation strategies, and environment management best practices; assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applications; develop comprehensive migration strategies and execute plans to seamlessly transition them to OCI; design and implement OCI solutions to support the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation; design and develop OCI cloud strategies aligned with business objectives considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and security; advise and work with ERP implementation teams, DevOps Engineers, and IT Operations to ensure smooth integration and delivery of cloud-based solutions; implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats; utilize Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, Oracle Cloud Fusion, Oracle Fusion BIP, ETL, large relational databases, data analysis and reporting, system analysis, software design and development, Autosys batch processing, and Unix Shell scripting to perform duties; ensure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements, implementing security controls, encryption, and access management measures as necessary; develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and mechanisms to ensure business continuity, with a special emphasis on data integrity; implement Oracle Financials in a corporate environment; implement and support Oracle BIP and OBIEE; responsible for the entire SDLC including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and Production Support; and troubleshoot, maintain, and prepare technical documents, and assist clients.

Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $135,200 per year (standard benefits apply);

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as an Oracle Applications Technical Lead, as a Software Engineer, as a Systems Engineer, as a Technical Consultant, as a Technology Lead, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year's use of all the following: Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, Oracle Cloud Fusion, Oracle Fusion BIP, ETL, large relational databases, data analysis and reporting, system analysis, software design and development, Autosys batch processing, and Unix Shell scripting.
