About the role
We are hiring Deployment Engineers to support one of our clients in the financial services technology space. In this role, you will deploy, support, and enhance hosted client environments for a suite of cloud services. You’ll work closely with system experts and project stakeholders to deliver implementations, upgrades, patches, and operational support with high quality and strong attention to detail.
Success in this position requires technical depth, excellent communication, and the ability to create, follow, and continuously improve runbooks. You will also be encouraged to identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows across the environment.
Core technologies you’ll work with
Windows Server, Citrix XenApp, Active Directory, SQL Server, VMWare vSphere, NetApp, SolarWinds, Jenkins, Chef (and related enterprise infrastructure tools)
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and support hosted client environments, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching
- Support client implementation and upgrade projects in collaboration with cross-functional team members
- Create, test, maintain, and improve runbooks and operational documentation
- Develop and follow detailed project plans, schedules, and implementation documentation
- Proactively identify workflow inefficiencies and automate repetitive tasks where possible
- Learn to install and configure proprietary applications and support operational readiness
- Provide operational support while balancing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and client teams regarding status, risks, and resolution timelines
Required qualifications
- Experience with Windows system administration in an enterprise environment
- Strong exposure to cloud/hosted environments leveraging Windows, Citrix, and VMWare
- Familiarity with scripting and automation technologies such as Chef, Jenkins, and Shell scripting
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex analysis and implement practical solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (internal teams and client-facing)
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work independently in a collaborative environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities: project execution, operational support, and delivery timelines
- Ability and willingness to rapidly learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Allvue Systems/ FundCount/ FIS Investran Private Capital Suite/ Enfusion/ Charles River IMS
- Experience supporting enterprise monitoring and infrastructure platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, NetApp)
- Strong background in standardizing processes and improving operational maturity through documentation and automation
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
