Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Full-Stack Software Developer. This is a W-2 contract opportunity supporting a fast-paced and innovative development environment. Candidates must reside near Fremont, CA.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full-Stack Developer who thrives in environments where they can take ownership of technical challenges, collaborate with teams, and deliver high-quality solutions from start to finish. Experience with ElectronJS is required.

• The Software Developer will contribute to both frontend and backend development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain modern applications.
• This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving abstract problems, building scalable solutions, and owning projects from concept to completion.

What You Bring

• Experience thinking critically about complex or abstract problems and delivering effective technical solutions.
• Ability to break down projects into milestones and tasks and drive work through to completion.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working within software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience with code reviews, branch management, and resolving merge conflicts
• Experience with ElectronJS.
• Strong understanding of modern web development frameworks and full-stack technologies.

What You Will Do (Skills Used in This Position)

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain modern web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Utilize CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
• Develop applications using React.js or similar frontend libraries.
• Work with UI component frameworks such as Ant Design (antd) and shadcn.
• Implement and maintain global state management using tools such as:
• Redux
• React Context API

Backend Development

• Develop server-side functionality using technologies such as:
• Node.js
• Python
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Express.js
• Design, develop, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including:
• SQLite
• MySQL
• MongoDB

Compensation and Employment
This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected hourly rate for this position is $45 - $60 W2, depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
