Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days on site; 2 days remote)

Note: Client expecting local candidates, who is in commutable locations and can attend office as per manager’s request, however it will be a hybrid role.

Job Description

We are seeking an IT / Infrastructure Project Manager to join our dynamic team in financial services. The role focuses on network infrastructure readiness for electronic trading, including data centers and colocations, client connectivity, and extranet services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data center deployments, real-time market data, electronic trading, and low-latency network technologies, and a proven ability to drive complex projects to completion within scope and timeline in a fast-paced environment. This is not a software engineering or application-focused role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple concurrent network infrastructure projects for electronic trading from initiation through production readiness.
• Coordinate installation and readiness of network equipment, circuits, cross-connects, and related data center and colocation services.
• Partner with network operations to test, turn up, and operationalize services into production.
• Track hardware and drive logistics across vendors, exchanges, and internal teams.
• Engage client-facing groups, market data teams, and external providers to manage connectivity and market access.
• Run status calls, command meetings, and communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders at all levels.
• Maintain schedules, dependencies, RAID logs, and workflow tooling to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to controls, risk, and compliance requirements across the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of technology project management in financial services, exchanges, or colocation environments.
• Proven delivery of network infrastructure programs at data centers or offices.
• Intermediate knowledge of LAN, WAN, carrier circuits, and data center operations.
• Experience with market data and exchanges (e.g., NYSE, Nasdaq, BATS) and B2B network providers (e.g., BT Radianz, TNS).
• Strong partnership skills across Business, Technology, Operations, and Control functions.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, and MS Teams for workflow and communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to tailor messages to all organizational levels and lead calls.
• Independent self-starter with adaptability, ownership, and accountability in a high-volume environment.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of project or product management in finance and technology with exposure to low latency, market data, and trading environments.
• CCNA and/or PMP certification.
• Experience with Kanban and Agile delivery frameworks.
• New York Metro area residency with ability to be on site three days per week.
