Job Overview ?

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Manufacturing Process Engineer to support innovative automotive manufacturing operations from concept through vehicle launch. In this role, you?ll play a critical part in shaping production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across trim, chassis, and final assembly. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex challenges while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.


What?s the Job? ?

  • Supervise and support process engineers in developing tooling and manufacturing processes

  • Oversee projects from concept through plant launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met

  • Lead root cause analysis using tools such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, FMEA, Pareto Charts, Histograms, Six Sigma, and Red X

  • Champion data-driven decision-making across manufacturing operations

  • Drive design-for-manufacturing initiatives across projects

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams

  • Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages ownership and accountability

  • Support implementation and optimization of automotive assembly processes

  • Travel as needed to support project execution and plant operations


What?s Needed? ?

  • Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or related technical field

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive assembly technology supervision

  • Experience with CAN software and vehicle communication systems

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Suite

  • Solid project management and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, overtime, and travel domestically/internationally

  • Self-motivated with strong leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automotive Technology

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing

  • Experience with Kaizen or focused problem-solving methodologies

  • Background in electrical systems and/or torque applications

  • Experience with CAN and CAN-FD networks and diagnostic tools
