Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Neo4j, SQL, and Spark-based ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, integrating graph and relational data, and enabling high-quality, secure data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark (PySpark/Scala)
Process large-scale datasets efficiently across distributed systems
Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading workflows
- Graph & Relational Data Engineering
Work with Neo4j graph databases for relationship-driven data models
Develop and optimize SQL queries for structured data systems
Integrate graph and relational datasets for unified analytics
- Data Modeling
Design and implement logical and physical data models
Support both:
Relational models (SQL-based)
Graph-based models (Neo4j)
Ensure scalability and performance of data structures
- Data Security & Governance
Implement data security, access controls, and compliance standards
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency
Follow best practices for data governance and privacy
- Collaboration & Delivery
Work with data scientists, analysts, and business teams
Translate requirements into technical data solutions
Participate in Agile development cycles and code reviews
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Neo4j (Graph Database)
- SQL (Advanced Queries & Optimization)
- Spark (ETL PySpark/Scala)
- Experience building data pipelines and ETL workflows
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of data security and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.)
- Experience with Python or Scala programming
- Exposure to knowledge graph implementations

- Ability to work in hybrid and fast-paced environments
