RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Product Manager - Developer AI.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with private cloud, public cloud, and security teams to gather and prioritize developer tooling requirements
* Conduct ongoing tools assessments, technical feasibility studies, and TCO analysis
* Define and track developer productivity and adoption metrics
* Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
* Drive cross-functional alignment on platform integration and compliance requirements
* Maintain product roadmaps aligned with enterprise technology strategy
* Keep up with evolving industry toolsets and platform engineering
* Assess tools on technical merit, integration complexity, and strategic fit
* Conduct build vs. buy assessments, total cost of ownership studies, and technical feasibility evaluations
* Identify toolchain gaps, redundancies, and modernization opportunities on an ongoing basis
* Plan training, addressing adoption resistance, and proving value beyond license procurement
* Drive multi-team initiatives from conception through delivery with clear milestones, risk management, and phased rollouts
* Create PRDs, architecture decision records, integration specs, and developer onboarding guides
* Synthesize complex technical trade-offs into clear recommendations for leadership; Diving deep with architects as needed
* Build product roadmaps that balance immediate needs with long-term strategy while managing competing stakeholder priorities
* Define KPIs, measuring developer productivity gains, and building data-driven business cases and dashboards for executive stakeholders
* Translate infrastructure constraints, security policies, and regulatory requirements into actionable product specifications
* Conduct build vs. buy assessments, total cost of ownership studies, and technical feasibility evaluations
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of software engineering or platform engineering, 3+ years product management in enterprise/developer tools
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) and CI/CD systems
* Track record launching developer tools or platform products at scale
* Strong analytical skills with TCO/ROI analysis experience
* Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud architectures (private/public), containerization, and enterprise integration patterns (SSO, secrets management, artifact repositories)
* Understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and the evolving AI-assisted development landscape
* Production coding experience to understand developer workflows, pain points, and tooling friction points
* Experience navigating procurement, security reviews, compliance, and large-scale tool adoption
Preferred:
* PMP, CSPO, CISM or equivalent certification
* Background in security, compliance, or infrastructure teams
* Familiarity with AI/ML enterprise deployment considerations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
