Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with deep experience in Power BI Embedded, report styling, and data modeling to support the delivery of scalable, high-performance reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating Power BI with Azure Data Bricks, building visually polished dashboards and paginated reports, and ensuring optimal performance across a multi-tenant architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Power BI Embedded solutions within a multitenant SaaS platform

• Design and style dashboard and paginated reports to meet UI/UX standards and brand guidelines

• Connect and model data from Azure Data Bricks, ensuring clean and efficient data pipelines

• Build and manage robust Power BI data models for optimal query performance and reusability

• Monitor, diagnose, and optimize report and data performance (DAX, visuals, gateway, storage mode)

• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define report requirements and KPIs

• Manage and version reports and datasets using GIT and CI/CD pipelines

• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries for report development and performance tuning

• Provide support and database/application documentation for internal users

• Communicate technical details effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years experience with Power BI, including Embedded implementation in custom SAS apps

• Strong expertise in Power BI Report Builder and Power BI Desktop

• Proven ability to build stylish, responsive, branded reports (dashboard and paginated)

• Solid experience with Azure Data Bricks and Delta Lake

• Strong command of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices

• Skilled in performance troubleshooting and optimization techniques

• Proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries (T-SQL, Spark SQL)

• Experience using GIT for version control and collaboration

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable working in Agile teams and directly with business users

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI REST API and embed token generation

• Experience with RLS (Row-Level Security) in multi-tenant contexts
