Senior Workday Financial Consultant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Financial Consultant with a strong background to join a strategic finance transformation team. This role is pivotal in building and integrating Workday financial modules as part of a broader  ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment with HR, finance, and operational systems. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in designing and developing Workday financial components with a focus on supporting a unified  environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement Workday financial modules, including Accounts Payable, Supplier Management, Banking & Settlement, and Travel & Expense, within a  framework.
• Act as a technical and functional subject matter expert for Workday financial system development, ensuring integration with HR and  systems.
• Support knowledge sharing and training to foster internal expertise within the  ecosystem.
• Align Workday financial configurations with broader  processes and strategies, supporting future integrations and system enhancements.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and go-live activities, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting Workday financial modules within a environment.
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes such as AP, supplier management, banking, settlement, and T&E, with an understanding of how these integrate with HR and  systems.
• Prior experience supporting or implementing Workday in a multi-system ecosystem, preferably with consulting firms like KPMG, Deloitte, or Workday Partners.
• Ability to support both the support and development of Workday financial systems, with an emphasis on building scalable, integrated solutions.
• Broader understanding of the Workday ecosystem, including integrations, APIs, and the overall  landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a -focused environment or supporting multi-process HR and Finance integrations.
• Background as a Workday implementation consultant with exposure to various modules and ecosystems.
• Knowledge of the strategic role of finance within a unified  ecosystem.

• This role is part of a critical finance and  transformation initiative with a go-live target of July 2027.
