Titile:PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense (EX) Business Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) & Expense (EX) Business Analyst to provide functional support and business analysis expertise for a large enterprise PeopleSoft Financials environment. This role will serve as the primary Tier 2 functional support resource for the AP and Expense modules, working closely with developers, business users, and project stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, analyze requirements, coordinate testing, and support system enhancements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft AP and Expense modules, hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, end-user support, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 functional support for PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense (EX) modules.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and help desk tickets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business users regarding AP and Expense module functionality.
- Analyze business requirements and create detailed functional design documentation.
- Collaborate closely with PeopleSoft developers (Tier 3 support) to design and implement system enhancements.
- Document issues, business processes, and functional requirements for development teams.
- Perform system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate system changes and enhancements prior to migration into production environments.
- Update job aids, user guides, and training documentation when system changes occur.
- Support configuration and maintenance of PeopleSoft AP and Expense modules.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Monitor ticket queues and provide timely status updates on assigned work.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Functional Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of functional experience supporting PeopleSoft Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense (EX) modules.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials version 9.0 or higher.
- Experience supporting production environments and resolving functional issues.
- Hands-on experience with AP and Expense module configuration and setup.
Business Analysis & Testing
- Experience gathering business requirements and producing functional specifications.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of PeopleTools.

- Experience documenting test cases, test scripts, and business processes.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Modifications (RICE objects).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large public sector or government organizations.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials upgrades and enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable business processes and expense management workflows.
- Experience creating training materials and conducting end-user support activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
