Position Title: Tableau / Data Visualization & Reporting Analyst

Pay Rate: $50/hr - $52/hr on W2
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau / Data Visualization & Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that drive data-informed decision-making. This role is ideal for a data professional who thrives at the intersection of analytics, visualization, automation, and business strategy.
You will work on large-scale, enterprise-level datasets, building standardized, high-quality reporting solutions that improve operational performance, transparency, and insights across business and technical stakeholders. This is a fully remote contract role aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and metrics using Tableau and Python
Develop standardized, repeatable KPIs and reporting frameworks to ensure data consistency and accuracy
Lead cross-functional collaboration to align business definitions, metrics, and reporting standards
Automate reporting workflows and data pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability
Ensure dashboards follow visualization best practices and analytics design standards
Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics to generate actionable business insights
Optimize data quality, validation, and reporting processes
Prepare executive-level presentations and operational performance reports
Support data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and storytelling
Required Skills / Education:
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor s degree or higher
Active Tableau Consultant (Designer Path) certification OR
Active Tableau Data Analyst / Desktop Specialist certification

Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization using Tableau
Advanced SQL expertise for complex queries and data troubleshooting
Proven experience designing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Must have lived in the United States at least 3 of the last 5 years
Technical Skills:
Expert-level Tableau dashboard development and optimization
Advanced SQL and data modeling
Python for automation and data processing
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Strong data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices
Core Competencies:
Data storytelling and information visualization
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Stakeholder collaboration across business and technical teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Process optimization and continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Salesforce and Visualforce
Experience with Apex Data Loader and Salesforce data operations
Healthcare or government program analytics experience
Experience mentoring junior analysts and consultants
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Agile experience (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
