Azure Data Cloud Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking an Azure Data Cloud Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 7+ years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering
* Excellent communicator
* Expert collaborator
* Continuous learner
* Mentor and coach to the team's data engineering associates
* Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
* Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning
* Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)
* Experience working with large data sets
* Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development
* Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
* Familiarity with large complex system design
* Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus
* Shell scripting experience
* Linux environment experience
* Financial services experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
