P&C Techno Functional Business Analyst
Location : Iselin, NJ
Duration : 6+ Months
Onsite from Day 1 (3 Days / Week)
Experience: 8-12 years overall with 7+ years of experience in P&C Insurance.
Role Summary
We are looking for an Offshore P&C Techno Functional Business Analyst with strong Property & Casualty insurance domain expertise and experience working closely with onshore stakeholders and delivery teams. The role focuses on requirement analysis, functional design, system configuration support, and testing across P&C insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with onshore business and product teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support P&C processes including Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, and Underwriting
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams during design and development phases
- Support configuration and enhancements on P&C core platforms, Guidewire etc.
- Assist with data mapping, integrations, and interface validations
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint delivery
- Execute and support UAT, defect analysis, and regression testing
- Maintain documentation and provide post release support
Required Skills & Experience
Domain & Functional
- 7+ years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance for US Insurance carriers.
- Good understanding of policy lifecycle, claims processing, and billing workflows
- Experience supporting large-scale P&C transformation or enhancement programs
Technical
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter) or Duck Creek
- Basic understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
