Title: Application Trainer

Ideal Candidate Profile:
· The Application Trainer is responsible for delivering effective end-user training for the Electronic Health Records application to ensure successful adoption, usability and ongoing proficiency.
· This role designs, develops, and delivers training programs, documentation, and learning materials while working closely with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for new and existing applications
· Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, videos, and e-learning modules
· Customize training content based on user roles, workflows, and system configurations
· Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning approaches
· Support application rollouts, upgrades, and system changes through targeted training initiatives
· Provide hands-on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning sessions
· Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on application functionality and workflows
· Collaborate with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams to align training with system capabilities
· Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and completion metrics
Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor''s degree in Education, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 2–5 years of experience in application training, software implementation, or user education
· Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences
· Experience developing training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, LMS platforms, or video authoring software
· Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities
· Adaptability to different learning styles and technical skill levels
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail
· Ability to travel as needed for on-site training sessions
