The selected individual will support a multi-stage enterprise integration initiative, involving multiple technical workstreams, project phases, internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

One of the first initiatives for the PM will be to assist with the implementation of Boomi as an enterprise integration platform. The role will then support additional integration projects as the platform expands across the organization. Boomi experience is helpful but not required.

·         Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-up on key decisions and deliverables.

·         Manage project timelines, priorities, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

·         Work with technical teams to understand project requirements, dependencies, and potential delivery risks.

·         Coordinate vendor activities, deliverables, timelines, and resource commitments.

·         Identify issues and risks early and work with appropriate resources to drive them toward resolution.

·         Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

·         Monitor project spending, vendor invoices, resource utilization, and project run rate.

·         Support testing, deployment, implementation, and transition activities as projects move toward completion.

Required Skills & Experience:

·         5+ years of IT project management experience; 7+ years preferred.

·         Experience managing complex technical projects or implementations.

·         Experience managing enterprise technology or integration projects preferred.

·         Experience coordinating technical teams, developers, architects, vendors, and third-party resources.

·         Strong project planning, scheduling, organizational, and coordination skills.

·         Experience managing multiple workstreams, priorities, dependencies, and deliverables.

·         Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

·         Ability to identify risks, issues, and dependencies and drive them toward resolution.

·         Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar.

·         Ability to understand technical concepts and work effectively with technical teams without needing to be the hands-on technical expert.

·         Experience tracking project budgets, invoices, resources, or project spend.

Pluses:

·         Workday implementation experience.

·         Boomi / Dell Boomi experience.

·         Enterprise integration experience.

·         PeopleSoft experience.

·         Familiarity with APIs, middleware, data integration, or systems interoperability.

·         Experience working in an Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environment.

·         PMP certification.

This is a long-term contract opportunity through December 2027 with a hybrid remote schedule and approximately one day onsite per week. The onsite location is flexible among three Chicago-area campuses, with occasional multi-day onsite working sessions with implementation partners.
