Summary
We are seeking a strategic Project Manager to lead key public health interoperability and healthcare IT initiatives. If you have a background in health informatics, system integration, and stakeholder management, this position is for you!
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Lansing, MI (Must live within 1.5 hours of Lansing at time of submission)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite required: Wednesdays & Thursdays)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare data-exchange projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure public health interoperability goals are met.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and adoption of clinical workflow tools.
Key Requirements & Essential Skills
Required:
- 8+ years of Project Management experience (preferably in Public Health or Healthcare IT).
- PMP Certification (Required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Preferred / Highly Valued:
- Hands-on experience with public health programs, clinical systems, or IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with health data standards and HIPAA compliance.
- CAPM or Agile certifications.
