RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Asset Coordinator in Southfield, MI to support the IT Project Management Office and Asset Lifecycle Management Program. This role is responsible for coordinating IT asset procurement, inventory management, equipment logistics, vendor administration, license reconciliation, and asset lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate procurement of IT hardware and related technology equipment, including workstations, servers, printers, network devices, scanners, and specialized technology equipment
* Maintain and perform routine audits of IT assets, software licenses, warranties, and inventory records
* Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and assist with asset reconciliation efforts
* Coordinate equipment deliveries, returns, transfers, and disposals between corporate locations, vendors, and remote sites
* Receive, track, and inventory incoming equipment shipments
* Support the administration and ongoing improvement of the IT Asset Lifecycle Management program
* Update and audit asset information within asset management tools and platforms
* Maintain vendor records, points of contact, contracts, and renewal schedules
* Monitor upcoming vendor renewals and ensure accurate contract documentation
* Conduct regular audits of recently offboarded employees and perform software license reconciliation activities
* Assist with IT invoice reviews and support identification of cost-saving opportunities
* Process IT-related invoices and help resolve billing inquiries
* Research and recommend improvements to asset and vendor management processes
* Maintain internal IT contact directories and organizational charts
* Assist with reporting, data analysis, and documentation related to IT assets and vendors
* Create and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation
* Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED or equivalent; Additional education is a plus
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
* Ability to prioritize workload and work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to document processes and create standard operating procedures
* Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting IT asset management, procurement, inventory control, or vendor management
* Experience working in a healthcare or healthcare technology environment
* Experience reviewing invoices, contracts, or software licensing records
* Familiarity with IT Asset Lifecycle Management principles and best practices
* Exposure to asset management, inventory, procurement, or ticketing systems
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
