The Customer Master Data Specialist is a global position supporting the Electronics Materials business. The role encompasses the creation, extension, and maintenance of customer master data within SAP, including the management of customer price data. Responsibilities include handling both third-party trade accounts and intercompany accounts across SEMI, Delivery Systems & Services, and Optronics sectors. The Specialist must possess a comprehensive understanding of SAP data structures, tools, and the processes necessary for managing customer data for the Electronics business on a global scale. This position requires a strong process orientation and collaboration with various business and functional groups across multiple regions to ensure adherence to customer master data standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in master data management, IT, or supply chain roles, along with proficiency in SAP and a solid grasp of SAP data structures. - Execute end to end processes for creating and maintaining customer master data, including price. - Monitor K2 and SFDC queues to ensure timely processing of requests for the Electronics business. - Manage and process requests for new customers, including trade and intercompany accounts. - Ensure compliance with enterprise master data rules and collaborate with business and functional groups to uphold data quality standards and policies. - Partner with the business when required to ensure data meets transactional needs SKILLS - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently - Resourceful, looks for solution rather than allowing obstacles to impede progress - Creative and innovative - Able to take directions and give directions in a clear manner - Willing to learn new software applications and methods - Not afraid to ask questions and seeking assistance when needed - Excellent interpersonal skills such as verbal and written skills JOB QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor or Associate degree preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus (German, Chinese, Korean) - Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with remote teams. - Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented - Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Experience with SAP, as well as a strong understanding of SAP data structures, is highly desirable - Candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in master data management, IT, or supply chain functions
