Job Title: Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative
Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite) 
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20.00/hr on W2
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation

Responsibilities

• Support customers through service inquiries or problems related to FHA mortgage guidelines and procedures.
• Use mortgage industry knowledge to locate answers in a knowledge database and respond to client requests.
• Follow standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels.
• Document all contacts and interactions in the appropriate database.
• Keep current with FHA mortgage processes and procedures to provide accurate information.
• Communicate effectively via phone and email, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Navigate multiple computer systems and utilize search tools efficiently.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer).
• At least 1 year of contact center experience or telephone customer service experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.
• Excellent time management, dependability, and strong communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Keyboard proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
• Knowledge of FHA mortgage policies is a plus.
