Summary
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an EIT Program/Systems Analyst (Level 2) to support mission-critical applications within a major utility environment. This consultant will provide intermediate-level support for GIS, Work Management, and Mobile Data applications, ensuring system reliability and seamless operations for field and enterprise stakeholders. The role involves application configuration, troubleshooting, development, system administration, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
* Support GIS, Work Management, and Mobile Data applications used across electric and gas utility operations
* Install, configure, test, and deploy applications in Windows, Linux, and Citrix environments
* Apply software patches and updates to maintain stability and compliance
* Provide end-user support across field operations and business units
* Assist in designing and developing enterprise applications and enhancements
* Create functional and technical documentation based on business requirements
* Promote code/configuration changes across environments following established processes
* Analyze and resolve application and system issues
* Collaborate with infrastructure teams on server builds, OS patching, performance tuning, and system health monitoring
* Work with database administrators on backups, schema updates, patches, and refreshes
* Partner with business users and functional teams to understand needs and complete assigned work
* Integrate GIS and related operational systems with other enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, OMS)
* Assist team members with operational activities and support process improvement initiatives
* Participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations
* Perform after-hours support as needed for production deployments or system changes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; Equivalent experience accepted
* Experience supporting or developing enterprise applications
* Hands-on experience with software installation, configuration, patching, and administration in Windows and/or UNIX environments
* Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning capabilities
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience developing mobile or web applications
* Experience working with GIS platforms (ESRI or similar) or utility-specific GIS/field systems
* Experience supporting Work Management or Field Mobility solutions in a utility environment
* Integration experience with ERP platforms
* Familiarity with Citrix, scripting (Windows/UNIX), Python, Oracle PL/SQL, geospatial databases, or utility network technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
