Your Role

As a Product Designer at Zip, you'll work on real, customer-facing features across a wide product surface area for procurement, which at its essence is managing the process of helping companies buy what they need. You'll be supported by experienced designers, PMs, and engineers who care deeply about craft, collaboration, and building consumer-grade experiences for complex enterprise workflows. You'll have direct access to our users for UX Research and testing, and the features you design will be immediately used by our users. You'll work with a tight-knit team that values open communication and cross-functional collaboration.

This role will be on our Contract Orchestration team, which continue to expand our contracts offering that spans redlining, renewals, obligation management and more. You'll dive deep with legal and procurement teams to figure out how to enhance their workflows by building out features that use AI sensibly.

We are looking for designers who are eager to learn, take ownership early, and grow quickly by working on high-impact problems used by some of the world's leading companies.

Please note, we are looking for someone who will be able to come into our San Francisco office on a hybrid basis (3 days / week).

You will
  • Contribute to CLM features from concept to launch
  • Partner closely with engineers, and with PM and go-to-market stakeholders to brainstorm, define, and implement new features and offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with our product and customer-facing teams to participate in UX Research and design thoughtful solutions
  • Iterate quickly on designs based on user feedback
  • Participate in regular design reviews with the broader design team.
  • Work closely with product designers across the organization to understand their specific team's needs

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years professional design experience working at a startup or similarly resource-restricted organization shipping great designs at a fast pace
  • Experience shipping at least one full product or significant feature end to end as the lead designer.
  • Experience iterating with engineers and other team members on both visual and UX designs to get the experience and details just right
  • Great presentation, collaboration and communication skills
  • Empathetic champion for your work's audience and customers
  • Strong visual design skills without sacrificing usability
  • Understanding of the technical constraints of building web applications.
  • You build with AI tools in your own workflow, prototyping with Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, or whatever gets your ideas into something clickable fastest.

The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
