As a senior AI/ML engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI applications that solve complex business problems.
- Design, build, and maintain AI-powered search, summarization, and chat applications for our internal AI-powered search and chat platform
- Hands-on experience building or integrating agentic AI systems, such as multi-step reasoning, tool-calling, or autonomous workflows
- Implement information-retrieval solutions, including vector-based search, relevance ranking, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Develop production-ready AI applications in Python, integrating with AWS services
- Build and tune OpenSearch / Elasticsearch indexes to support semantic and keyword search use cases
- Evaluate, tune, and refine AI models and system performance through experimentation
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall IT or software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of recent experience working with AI or ML solutions
- Proven proficiency in Python
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SageMaker, Glue, S3)
- Hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with vector databases and vector search techniques (embeddings, similarity search)
