AI + Tosca Automation Engineer

Title: AI + Tosca Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AI + Tosca Consultant to support a strategic quality engineering initiative for Duke Energy. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AI-driven testing and engineering platforms combined with hands-on proficiency in Tricentis Tosca for test automation. This role requires working onsite in Charlotte, NC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive intelligent test automation and quality assurance transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-driven testing solutions to improve software quality, test coverage, and execution efficiency.
• Leverage AI-powered engineering and testing platforms to accelerate test design, execution, and defect prediction.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca.
• Build and optimize end-to-end test automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define testing strategies.
• Integrate AI-based testing capabilities into existing QA and DevOps processes.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvements.
• Support continuous testing initiatives across Agile and DevOps environments.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and governance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca test automation.
• Experience working with AI-driven testing platforms and AI-assisted quality engineering solutions.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery models.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting energy projects or utilities industry clients is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise-scale testing programs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Exposure to AI-enabled software engineering and quality assurance tools.
