Job Description
SRE / Dynatrace Observability & Automation Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS/Managed, with primary focus on automation and self healing use cases.
• Design and implement Dynatrace-driven self-healing workflows using auto-remediation, problem detection, root-cause analysis, and integration with automation/runbook tools.
• Build and maintain Dashboards, Alerts, Problem Notifications, and Synthetic Monitoring aligned to business-critical services and SLAs.
• Apply deep knowledge of APM, infrastructure monitoring, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and microservices to enable proactive and predictive operations.
• Leverage DQL, metrics, events, and entity relationships to drive intelligent alerting, automated decisions, and remediation actions.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM and incident management platforms to enable automated ticket creation, enrichment, and closure.
• Define and enforce SLOs/SLIs, using observability signals to support release readiness, production gating, and operational decision-making.
• Engineer permanent fixes through post-incident reviews, ensuring automation is enhanced to prevent recurrence of known failure patterns.
• Partner with platform, governance, and control teams to ensure observability, automation, and self-healing practices align with enterprise risk, compliance, and audit standards.
