Client - The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC)

Visa – and GCEAD and EAD

Location -  Remote but may transition to hybrid at some point. only want candidates within a 90-minute driving radius of Harrisburg, PA.

Description of Duties

•            Manages and coordinates the activities of internal and/or external

staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity.

•            Develops and maintains project plans and other artifacts as required

using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.

•            Coordinates with business owners and other analysts to define and

refine the project scope.

•            Performs project management duties through the entire project

lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.

•            Conducts lessons learned sessions during and after projects to

identify recommendations for improvement.

•            Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with

technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.

•            Adheres to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.

Desired Skillset

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of expertise in project/project management of projects of various size and subject matter, including but not limited to integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management.

Additional beneficial skills include:

•            Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification,

•            ServiceNow Experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules

•            Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP projects

•            ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies

Engagement Requirements

•            Candidate’s location is preferred to be within the Continental United

States.

•            Successfully complete ePATCH background check, and ClearChecks

National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.

•            Overtime requests always need to have prior approval of Project

Principal with the rightful reasons for overtime.

•            This position is primarily remote; however, this position will require

reporting to the Commission’s headquarters for meetings as required.

•            Travel expenses submitted for reimbursement must adhere to federal GSA

guidelines governing hotel, mileage, and meals per diem rates, and must include appropriate expense documentation (receipts).  GSA Guidelines are available at:

•            No additional compensation for any travel required
