Summary

A client of Sharp Decisions is seeking a Software Test & Verification Engineer in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12-month contract with possible extension, offering $75.00/hour on W2.
The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Software Test & Verification Engineer to join an agile Software Development Team within Roche Pathology Lab R&D in Tucson, AZ. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test cases to ensure software quality.
Key Skills & Experience Required

Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in software development and testing.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance).
Experience with at least one programming or scripting language for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Experience

Experience with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
Proficiency with CI/CD and test management tools (Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Experience using AI tools for automated testing processes.
Experience mentoring and training junior team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering).
