MSBI Developer - W2 only - Contract - Washington - DC

Role: MSBI Developer – W2 Contract
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Eligible Candidates: Washington, DC | Maryland | Virginia
Engagement: Contract – W2 Only (No C2C).

We are seeking a Senior MSBI Developer to design, enhance, and support SQL Server–based business intelligence solutions in a regulated environment. This role requires strong technical expertise and attention to data governance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop SSIS ETL packages for enterprise data integration

Build, maintain, and support SSRS reports and dashboards

Develop and support SSAS cubes or tabular models

Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views

Provide production support, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements

Ensure BI solutions adhere to HIPAA requirements, data privacy standards, and internal compliance policies

Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and deliver reporting requirements

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of overall IT experience

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on MSBI experience

Strong expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS

Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL best practices

Ability to work onsite three days per week

Preferred:

Healthcare domain experience (claims, provider, member, or clinical data)
