Compliance Consultant

Introduction:

As a Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring NERC compliance, specifically focusing on Operations & Planning (O&P) within the organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory standards and ensuring that the company operates in accordance with industry guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance strategies to meet NERC requirements in the Operations & Planning sector.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate compliance requirements and provide training as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Participate in compliance meetings and represent the organization in discussions with regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the development of compliance policies and procedures to support a culture of compliance within the organization.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with NERC compliance regulations.
• Strong understanding of Operations & Planning (O&P) in the energy industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in NERC compliance.
• Experience working in a compliance role within the energy sector.
