Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer III (Full Stack) for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of the Developer Experience (DevEx) Organization, contributing to a multi-year AI in SDLC program. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist responsible for the product roadmap, development, and maintenance of DevEx applications which are utilized by technology leaders to gain actionable insights on AI usage of their teams. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will work closely with senior leadership, business partners, and global distributed teams to deliver the best-in-class solution.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Django/Python and Svelte/Angular
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services to support dashboard and reporting solutions
- Build intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX teams, architects, and developers throughout the application lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues through effective root cause analysis
- Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments
Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in Full Stack Application Development using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience building enterprise dashboards, analytics platforms, and web applications
- Strong experience in Python and Django development
- Hands-on experience with Svelte and/or Angular
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and source control best practices
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desired skills: - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments
- Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI services
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, or monitoring platforms
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Exposure to Banking/Financial Services applications
- Experience developing executive dashboards and analytics solutions
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
