Senior Systems Analyst – Oracle SOA Suite

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with strong Oracle SOA Suite experience to support the design, development, and ongoing support of enterprise integration and content management applications.

This role works closely with business stakeholders and a large Oracle support team to deliver reliable integration services and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, Java-based services, and Linux environments, while helping ensure strong operational support, change management compliance, and overall service delivery.

This position operates with minimal supervision and requires strong technical problem-solving skills, collaboration with business users, and the ability to support mission-critical systems in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support enterprise integrations using Oracle SOA Suite 12c and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).

• Build and maintain SOA composites using BPEL orchestration and related activities to support enterprise service integrations.

• Develop and maintain integrations using JCA Adapters (AQ, FTP, File, DB, Oracle Applications Adapter).

• Design and implement SOAP and REST-based web services to support internal and external application integrations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and integration solutions.

• Develop and maintain transformation and messaging logic using XML, JSON, XQuery, XSLT, and XML schemas.

• Support Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware environments, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational stability.

• Participate in change management processes and SOX-compliant controls to ensure governance and audit compliance.

• Monitor deliverables, track development progress, and provide reporting updates to management when required.

• Partner with cross-functional teams within a large Oracle application support environment to ensure reliable service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain and support Linux-based environments used for middleware and application hosting.

• Apply established project management and development best practices throughout the system development lifecycle.

• Continuously expand business and technical knowledge to support evolving enterprise systems and integration needs.

• Travel up to 10% as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent industry experience

• Strong experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c development and support

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Service Bus (OSB) including:

• Proxy Services

• Business Services

• Pipelines

• Transformations

• Securing services

• Experience developing SOA composites using BPEL orchestration

• Experience building integrations using JCA Adapters including:

• AQ Adapter

• FTP Adapter

• File Adapter

• DB Adapter

• Oracle Applications Adapter

• Strong experience working with XML, JSON, XML Schema, XQuery, and XSLT

• Experience developing SOAP and REST web services

• 5+ years of Java / JEE development experience

• Experience supporting Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware environments, including performance tuning and troubleshooting

• Linux system administration experience supporting middleware environments

• 5–10 years of SQL development experience with Oracle or other relational databases
