Location: Remote but travel so they will work remote but travel to various locations throughout the US so have to be available for travel as needed
Job Description
Wireless engineers to perform wireless surveys.
Minimum 2 years experience using Ekahau technology and conduct suveys.
They would need to have experience doing wireless surveys using Ekahau Sidekick.
Typically, the Ekahau Wireless Survey Engineer designs, validates, and troubleshoots Wi-Fi networks using Ekahau AI Pro software and the Ekahau Sidekick 2 device.
Core Responsibilities
PRIMARY CORE RESPONSIBILITY: They would need to have experience doing wireless surveys using Ekahau Side Kick. So must be able to walk distances within the client sites and operations floors.
They would not have to interprete the results generate a report or anything of that nature, SIMPLY NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL, PERFORM THE SURVEYS AND PROVIDE EKAHAU FILES.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Survey Execution: Conduct pre-deployment predictive designs, on-site passive/active site surveys, and post-deployment validation surveys.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY REQUIRE (BUT NOT A MUST).
RF Analysis & Troubleshooting: Identify coverage gaps, co-channel/adjacent-channel interference, and multipath issues.
Reporting: Generate detailed network documentation, performance reports, and actionable heatmap visualizations using Ekahau insights.
Network Deployment: Install, configure, and optimize enterprise wireless access points, switches, and mobility controllers.
Site Assessment: Evaluate physical building materials and environmental factors that impact radio frequency propagation. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
